August is National Eye Exam Month!

When was the last time you had an eye exam?

What is National Eye Exam Month?

Did you know that August is National Eye Exam Month in the United States? We didn't, either. But we take our eye health and strength very seriously here at Superior Detailer for obvious reasons.

The purpose of this awareness month is to encourage people to prioritize their eye health and schedule regular eye examinations. Comprehensive eye exams are essential for early detection and prevention of various eye conditions and vision problems.

During National Eye Exam Month, eye care professionals, vision organizations, and health authorities promote the importance of getting regular eye check-ups. Many eye health campaigns also emphasize the significance of maintaining good eye care habits, using protective eyewear, and being aware of potential signs of eye issues.

How seriously do we take our eye health here at Superior Detailer?

Our detailed work is highly dependent on what we can see with our "naked eye". More often than not, our clients cannot see paint imperfections that we see. Of course, our eyes are well trained and well suited now to see things that most consumers don't see. And we also could not perform at our level without have near-perfect eyesight. Think of all the little specs of dirt that we remove from seat crevasses, air conditioning vents, and other areas of the vehicle. With the right lighting, these things are no match for our healthy eyesight!

When was the last time you had your eyes checked?

If you haven't had an eye exam in a while, this month serves as a reminder to schedule one with an optometrist or ophthalmologist to ensure your eyes are in good health and any potential problems are addressed early on. Regular eye exams can help maintain clear vision and detect eye conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and more.
