Throwback Thursday with this 2007 Lotus Elise and one of the original SD clients. Karim first detailed this Lotus over 16 years ago, before SD's inception. Often referred to as a "driver's car" for its pure and engaging driving experience, this specific vehicle spec is quite rare.
This was an overhaul project for us with multiple stages that began with careful removal of the original Star Shield PPF. We then performed a wheels-off restorative exterior detail that also prepared the vehicle for paint correction. Protecting the refreshed surface is SunTek PPF on the full front, rockers, and rear, and a Modesta coating on the full exterior.
Check out this awe-inspiring, supercharged Lamborghini Huracan we corrected and protected a while ago. It just returned from the Gravity Rally and track day event. Our full MATTE PPF wrap, topped with Modesta BC-M matte coating, took the abuse like a champ and cleaned up with ease! Now, she's restored to her original glory.

This new Tesla Model X just went home with a full body Paint Protection Film (PPF) wrap and Modesta coatings. Full body coverage offers an array of benefits. 2022 Aston Martin Vantage with "Lime Essence" matte paint. A showstopper color, we fully wrapped this matte paint with Suntek Ultra Matte Paint Protection Film (PPF) and coated with Modesta coatings for the ultimate protection package. Modesta BC-X applied to the PPF, Modesta BC-06 applied to wheels, Modesta EGC applied to front windshield.
Coming all the way from Hollywood, CA, this gently used Aston definitely needed a superior detail prior to paint protection. Our standard processes include full Aenso preparation wash, decontamination, and careful clay bar treatment. We then polish the gloss paint work to remove fine surface scratches from general wear and tear. Our prep work on this vehicle also included a Level 2 Interior Detail. Steam clean, leather conditioning, and leather protection brings the interior back to new for the new owner.
Ford reintroduced the Mustang Mach 1 in 2021 as a limited-production model. We are long-time Mustang fans here at SD, so we were thrilled to have this 2022 Mach 1 in for our Paint Correction and Protection services. This is what we do best!
The client initially contacted us for correction and coating work after a few improper washes left the finish slightly marred all around. During our initial consultation with the client and vehicle, we assessed paint condition and decided on a lengthy list of detail and other protection work.
With paint correction complete, Paint Protection Film (PPF), various Modesta coatings, and proper wash kits and maintenance products, the client can now rest easy. His vehicle is fully protected, and he is equipped with the knowledge and education needed to properly maintain this work for the life of ownership. From its 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 engine pumping out 610HP to its aerodynamic and sleek exterior, this beast was born to impress. This track and rally car sees a ton of pavement. Our combination of detailing, full body PPF with superior products, and Modesta body coating ensures maximum long-term protection and easy cleanup. One of our specialties is fine interior detailing on sports cars and exotics. The interior on this used 2016 desperately needed some love. So, we performed our Level 2 Interior Detail which includes steam clean, leather conditioning, and leather protection. Back to new and protected just how we like it.

THURSDAY NiGHT is BIKE NIGHT! Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 No. 302. This super sports bike was detailed and protected with our chosen combination of Suntek Films PPF and Modesta coatings.
We aimed for protection while still maintaining the elegance of the matt black fairings, matt carbon, and exposed brushed aluminum. After a thorough hand wash, we tested different matte paint protection films for the best look, then applied to the highest impact areas.
